Dunedin
Dunedin is CFMA’s engineering-led office, providing strong land development engineering and technical support across the wider business.
The team contributes practical design input across roading, stormwater, wastewater, earthworks, and services, helping move projects forward with clear technical advice and coordinated delivery.
About CFMA Dunedin
The Dunedin office plays an important role in supporting CFMA’s wider land development work through engineering design, modelling, technical review, and reporting for South Island projects. Working from shared survey and project information, the team provides the technical input needed to obtain Engineering Acceptance and approved designs that move projects forward.
The team also provides local spatial and site-based services in Otago, including drone capture, laser scanning, point-cloud data, construction control, monitoring, and dimensional control where accurate site information and technical precision are needed on the ground.
With a focus on practical technical input, coordinated delivery, and smart use of modern tools, the Dunedin office strengthens CFMA’s capability across projects and regions.
LOCAL NOTE:
When Baldwin Street lost its title, Toby Stoff, Dunedin office manager, was the one who questioned it, kicked off the challenge, and led the technical work that helped win it back as the world’s steepest street.
